From the reviews

Kathleen is awesome! The acupuncture and cupping help ease my back pain and migraines. I wish I could give more stars, the care and overall experience is amazing!

★★★★★ — Chris, Mar 2024

I have had acupuncture in the past and know the great benefit of it. I recently moved here from another state and found that Kathleen lives near my friend who suggested I see her with my issue. She was generous enough to come to my friend's home and treat me on the spot. I now go to her office .

★★★★★ — Edee, Jan 2022

I have had back issues for decades, having surgery, therapy, and medication with little to no relief. Kathleen's overall approach between accuipunture, massage, and exercise seems to be giving me some much appreciated relief.

★★★★★ — Dean, Apr 2022

I have been coming to Kathleen for years! From torn meniscus to helping with fertility, she really knows her stuff! She is so kind and caring and makes your feel relaxed, as acupuncture should be. I highly recommend her :)

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
