Why Liv-Well is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “a technique used for muscle tension, pain and to release sickness -like a common cold. A tool is used to repeatedly massage the underlying fascia to promote blood flow and release toxins. Yes, that is a miso soup spoon. Cupping Cupping can…” source →

From the reviews
Olivia is an exceptional acupuncturist. She went over all the details and listened to what I had to say. She created a treatment plan specifically to my needs. The best part was it works! I would highly recommend Olivia to anyone needing Accupuncture.
I started seeing Olivia Maddock M.S., M.SAOM, L.Ac, at Liv-Well Acupuncture & Herbs in December 2021 for a back problem (collapsed lumbar disc). Olivia answers all questions & explains all treatments. She is very thorough and thoughtful in her examinations.
I have been going to Olivia for awhile now, for various reasons. Her approach is personal and will be different for everyone, based on the purpose of your visit. I always leave feeling better, whether I came to treat stress or a physical pain.
5 stars and 2 thumbs up. If you're on the fence and reading this just make the appointment, you won't regret it. Olivia's work never ceases to amaze me. She helped me relax, get re-energized and brought me back in balance (such a wonderful feeling).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
