From the reviews
I love visiting Dr. K and her team! Dr. K is always thorough, listens to me and goes above and beyond to make sure that we are addressing everything. I see her for acupuncture, cupping and naturopath - she is able to blend all aspects seemingly. She will even try western approaches if needed.
Best. Clinic. Ever. Dr. Knutson is caring, patient, kind, and calm. She listens intently to everything I say, and remembers it. She researches my disease on her own time. She takes time to explain things and tolerates my endless curiosity of 'why, why, why'.
This is a fantastic office with fantastic staff. I highly reccomend these folks. Professional and yet extremely friendly. Tara is an expert at blood draws.... she always gets me on the first try. Not to mention she makes me smile and forget I'm at the doctors!!
every single person is amazing and friendly. especially Tara. 10/10 will recommend. ;)
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
