Here's what we found: “to foster relaxation, reduce stress, relieve tight muscles and inflammation, and promote sleep. What clients say about the cupping here
“We got to work with Kim, she was not only an expert with skin and skincare But she made him feel very comfortable as getting a facial as a preteen can be very daunting.”
“She took him through the whole process prior to it so that he wasn’t nervous and even during she explained everything that was going to happen.”
“Not only does she provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience at the spa, but her attention to detail and tailored approach for my sensitive skin always makes me feel like I'm in good hands.”
“At 60 and as a lifelong athlete, I’ve had more than my share of injuries.”
“She is so welcoming and the spa is so clean and pristine and just a calming, relaxing experience!”
“The atmosphere itself is incredibly calm, quiet, and low light, and they offer a wide variety of reasonably priced add ons.”
“On top of that, Monique, who helps run Life Spa, is such a pleasure to talk to—she’s welcoming, kind, and really creates a warm, positive environment.”
From the reviews
I had a massage with Jill and a cupping appointment with Ruth - both women were fabulous. They made sure I was not only comfortable, but that the service worked for me. I will be going back to both women - Highly recommend!
Monique is absolutely amazing! I made the mistake of going to another LifeSpa for my routine dermaplaning, and it was a huge disappointment — I’ll never go anywhere else again. Monique genuinely cares about her clients. She’s kind, extremely knowledgeable, and puts true effort into her work.
I had my first massage at LifeSpa Medford, and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the session felt very personalized rather than routine. Ruth was wonderful. I left feeling relaxed, lighter, and genuinely cared for. The hot stones were a really nice touch, too.
I had a great experience at LifeSpa in Medford! Ruth and Monique were both amazing — friendly, professional, and really made me feel taken care of from start to finish. The whole place has a relaxing vibe, and the service was top-notch. I’d definitely recommend visiting, especially with Ruth and Monique. I’ll be back!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
