From the reviews
Tamara is great at what she does! I don’t think I have ever not fallen asleep during her massages. I started doing cupping with her as well and I now have less shoulder tension than I have had in YEARS! I need deep tissue due to my job and I have tried a LOT of massage therapists to try to help it.
If I could give Tamara more than 5 stars, I would! She gives you such an amazing experience from the second you walk into the door to the second you leave! Tamara is so sweet, personable, and not only listens to what you need, but what your BODY NEEDS!
Tamara has provided expert care for me over the past two years when facing a sports pain or build-up of work tension. Her techniques are tailored to those specific needs, and her massage therapy room is most relaxing and pleasant.
Really great experience! Tamara is incredibly skilled and attentive throughout the entire session. I felt completely relaxed and cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, professional massage therapy.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
