Life Dimensions by Ilona is an incredible place to find relaxation and peace. Ilona gives the most amazing and beneficial deep tissue massages that help me manage migraines and scoliosis. Every massage is different based on my needs at the time of the appointment.
I booked a Massage + Face and Scalp + Foot Reflexology with Hot Stones with Riley and this was one of the better massages I’ve had! The environment was clean, warm and calm. We discussed tense/painful areas before hand. She targeted relief for tension in my neck, back and hips as requested.
I recently experienced a full-body massage and polish with exfoliation, and it was absolutely amazing. Initially, I was unsure how it would feel lying on the massage table with the scrub—I thought the sensation of the scrub on the sheets might feel a bit strange. It wasn’t weird at all!
My session with Ilona felt very nurturing and helped me to get in touch and understand an issue I have been having in my neck and arm. I felt listened to and she also made me feel a part of the therapy which was empowering. I left feeling more enabled.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
