I cannot recommend Dr. Zummo more highly. My 14 year old daughter and I both see her for acupuncture, cupping, and other therapies as needed. She is kind, smart and fully explains all of the detail details related to treatment.
Dr. Zummo is amazing! I am a totally different person since starting acupuncture. I have played hockey since a young age and continue to play semi-professional. The weekly acupuncture sessions have been great for managing the bumps and bruises as well as just improving my energy levels and mood.
Dr. Lauren’s treatments are so amazing and have helped so well with training for golf. I play golf at the competitive level and doing cupping and acupuncture has been a huge help in improving.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
