What clients say about the cupping here
“After living with a knot in my back for four years, I finally went and saw her and she was able to reduce the pain and drastically increased my range of motion in my left arm.”
“Having experienced countless massage therapy techniques over the years, I can confidently say I've never encountered anyone as skilled as Micaela.”
“Michaela was one of the first massage therapists that actually listened to my recent injury, and performed the best treatment massage that was targeted and focused to my area of concern.”
“That’s the other thing: I’ve had really good massages before where I legit fell asleep at times, and I’d look at the data later and it would show relaxed at the most.”
“If you’re looking for a treatment that goes beyond a standard massage and truly supports your body’s natural movement and recovery, I can’t recommend a kinetic massage works highly enough.”
“On top of ALL that her office smells so good, it’s very clean!”
“At the end of the day, the results I get here prove to me that it's worth it to invest in regular massages with the same, trained individual who owns their own business.”
“I will never forget I actually cried the first time I left here because until you have chronic pain, you can’t understand the immense relief of finding something that actually improves it!”
From the reviews
I overwork myself a lot. I was having bad back pain mainly and went in expecting a decent massage nothing special… but I actually cried during the massage (not from pain I wanted to add this, she said it’s normal for that to happen, she’s very in tune with what she’s doing) it’s crazy how much your body physically…
Oh my word! I’ve had literally thousands of massages in my lifetime, by probably 100 different therapists, so I have context when I say Stop right now and book an appointment. Seriously, I’ll wait. You good? Well, if not, you’re about to be. Professional, knowledgeable, kind, and talented…yes to all of that.
I had an amazing experience with Micaela! I came in struggling with significant neck and shoulder pain, and she took the time to listen to my concerns and focus on the areas that needed the most attention. Her knowledge, skill, and professionalism were evident throughout the entire session.
Micheala is amazing at her craft. She truly listens, has a deep understanding of human anatomy, and knows how the body functions and compensates. For someone so small, she has the strength of several people combined.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
