From the reviews
I've been going to Kimia Wellness for a while now, and can't recommend it enough. The space is peaceful and inviting, and the therapists are truly skilled they know exactly how to target what your body needs. Each session feels tailored and thoughtful, not cookie-cutter.
Love this place! They offer massages, acupuncture, cupping and a lot more. I went here for the entire pregnancy for prenatal massage and as well as acupuncture during the postpartum phase. The new location is a lot more spacious and clean and bright. Love the new vibe!
Kimia Wellness has genuinely become one of my favorite places on earth. I go for acupuncture and cupping with Dr. Diana, and at this point I truly cannot imagine my life without it, or without her. She is warm, brilliant, and has done more for my back than I can properly explain in a Google review.
Highly recommend!!! I had an amazing experience today visiting Kimia Wellness at their beautiful new, modern location near The Grove! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease—the space is calming, thoughtfully designed, and filled with great energy. Dr. Roy Kimia and his team are truly exceptional.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
