From the reviews
Dr. Kellogg is an exciting breath of fresh air for the Northeast Ohio athletic scene. Finally we have a world class physical therapist using all the modern approaches to recovery and wellness. In my case he alternatively used dry-needling and cupping.
My daughter experienced extreme lower back pain, and Dr. Kellogg helped her recover quickly by providing her with the best rehab possible. Since recovering from her back pain, my daughter has continued to see Dr. Kellogg for other ongoing issues she has from gymnastics, and he has been nothing but amazing.
I can’t recommend Colton Kellogg enough! He made me feel welcome and listened to all of my concerns! He is a very knowledgeable PT and improved my tennis elbow after only 2 seasons of dry needling!
Excellent experience with KPMT! Colton is personable, knowledgeable and great to work with. Would absolutely return if I need a PT.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
