From the reviews
I’ve been seeing Tim Stanley since 2018 to help with my lymphatic system after my first round of chemo in 2017 & also for hip & lower back pain I was experiencing.
I went to Tim about four months after my left foot surgery. I had a tendon repair and bunion surgery at the same time. The pain and swelling was excruciating. Causing me to walk with a limp. Tim’s massage technique and his special blends of oils was a unique experience, a wonderful experience.
My first session with Tim exceeded my expectations. I was referred to him by my doctor's office for neck pain that wouldn't go away. Tim's compassion for people comes through in his massage. He is professional, and passionate about helping people, and educating others to take care of themselves.
At a recent gathering one of our neighbors, noticing my wife's discomfort from the effects of her second round of Bell's palsy, suggested that she contact Tim, which led her to a phone inquiry. Tim immediately expanded his busy schedule to see her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
