From the reviews

Karen has a beautiful, safe and inviting space, energy and presence. I had an extremely deep reaction to the work she did. I have had a fair amount of abdominal work over the years, but I've never experienced the nurturing, loving, mothering energy that I felt through Karen's hands.

Karen’s personalized massages are amazing! She is responsive to individual needs- she didn’t mind pausing to give me eucalyptus oil and tissues when my nose stuffed up (as it always does when I’m on my belly). Before my massage, it was painful to lay on my back. After my session, it was not.

★★★★★ — Tiffany, Nov 2025

Karen was incredibly welcoming and informative the whole time I was there. She made me feel comfortable and extremely relaxed for being 38 weeks pregnant. She even showed me a few stretches to do at home for sciatic pain.

★★★★★ — Lily, Oct 2025

I’ve been seeing Karen throughout my pregnancy, and she’s been absolutely amazing. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and always makes me feel comfortable and cared for. Her massages have helped so much with my back and hip pain and overall stress. I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
