What clients say about the cupping here
“Judith is an excellent and very knowledgeable acupuncturist.”
“I always feel nice and relaxed after our appointments, then re-energized and balanced as I come back to life!”
From the reviews
I found Judith in a time of need when my adrenals were truly needing some TLC. Her office sanctuary is beautiful, serene, and quiet, with lovely hummingbirds outside to greet me every time upon entrance.
During a time of stress, I developed a racing heart, usually felt at night and causing sleeplessness. Judith gave me a remote session, during which I could actually feel the sensation of needles delicately placed in different areas of my body, particularly my hands and feet.
Judith is fantastic! She took an interest in understanding my condition rather than applying one size fits all approach, and has been a tremendous help for me physically and mentally. I always feel nice and relaxed after our appointments, then re-energized and balanced as I come back to life!
Judith is an excellent and very knowledgeable acupuncturist. I am so glad that I found her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
