From the reviews
Been suffering from extreme neck pain for two weeks. To the point I couldn’t even drive or sit up straight. After the first session of combination of acupuncture and cupping, I could feel a difference the next day. After the second session a couple of days later I could drive with minimal pain.
Joshua Goldstein was highly recommended to me for acupuncture by my message therapist. I have always realized the benefits of acupuncture for general wellness and pursued a maintainace program with Joshua. Several issues began to arise and he met them head on helping to resolve each one.
I have been going to Joshua for 2 years now. My problems have improved steadily. He listens, sympathizes and fixes!!!! I will never go to another acupuncturist !!!!
Dr Goldstein is very calming and compassionate with patients, I recommend him highly
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
