The entire staff is wonderful! I was very nervous before my first visit because I had never been to the chiropractor before. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and really made me feel at ease. When they did my x-ray I realized just how badly I was out of alignment! It was much worse than I would’ve expected!
I went here when I pulled a muscle in my lower back. They took an X-ray before they did anything. They used a tens unit on me. It took a few visits but I really think it helped expedite my healing. I’ve also had a massage here. Everyone is very nice and always smiling.
Dr Baskett is amazing he truly cares about what he does and everyone that comes into his office. My daughters have gone to him with significant issues one due to a car accident and the other from falling off her horse.
My family has Been coming to Dr B since 2014 and he is the BEST chiropractor around!! His staff is top notch. If you are looking for a chiropractor in Putnam Co. look no further!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
