From the reviews
I’ve seen Jocelyn twice now and I will be making it a point to go back again and again! She did a deep tissue massage along with cupping and I left feeling brand new- I have gotten plenty of massages but I have never found someone worth going back for until I got recommended to see Jocelyn. She is the best!!!
Jocelyn was my massage therapist in Washington State for the two years before she moved to Bay City. She's terrific and I can't recommend her highly enough! I always scheduled a massage for the day after my monthly 8-10 mile mountain hikes which felt heavenly and kept my legs from aching.
Jocelyn is a GREAT therapist! As a therapist myself, it’s really hard to find someone that you like when you “know what’s going on behind the curtains”. Jocelyn is everything I love in a fellow therapist and I am so happy to have met her. She has a wide range of knowledge and skills, she listens and she is attentive.
Jocelyn was my massage therapist for around 3 years in Washington before she moved to Michigan. She has great skills and was very helpful to me in keeping my aging body and health in great shape! When I had specific issues, she was able to work on them with intuition and a willingness to try new techniques.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
