I recently had the pleasure of seeking treatment from Dr. Jun Fu, an acupuncturist who truly stands out as a healthcare professional. Dr. Fu's exceptional skills, dedication, and commitment to her patients make her a standout in her field.

I am a former professional athlete and currently a coach, a teacher and I drive Uber. My body is in constant demand and in need of relaxation. Dr. Li has transformed my life from one of constant pain and stress to that of activity and calm. I first began seeing Dr. Li for treatment with a very hyperactive thyroid.

I was very skeptical about accupuncture. I've experienced lower back pain on and off for years. Sometimes to the point I couldn't stand. I could not believe the results I got from accupuncture. My back feels great again and I'm not taking ANY muscle relaxants.

OMG doesn't say enough. Dr Li has been amazing beginning with her initial thorough consultation. From that point on, she has resolved chronic back & nerve issues, and other issues which traditional doctors felt only surgery could correct.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
