From the reviews
Outstanding experience with Jen. Best acupuncture in New England. Very personalized and attentive in a peaceful calming environment. If you’re considering acupuncture do not hesitate and make a booking. Love it and already made an appointment to return.
Chemo left me with some pretty serious neuropathy in my hands and Jen is a lifesaver. Huge reduction in the numbness and tingling. Professional, pleasant and truly invested in her patients. Thanks Jen!
Jen is the best! She’s thorough, listens, and advises - when’s the last time you got that from a medical professional? It’s a relaxing process and for any “I don’t like needles” people - it doesn’t hurt! If you feel pain you say that hurts and they remove it.
I’ve been seeing Jen for a couple of years. She’s great! I go for general stress management, allergies, muscle tightness and I’ve seen her for other random things as they come up. She’s gentle and it works! She also takes insurance which helps a lot in benefiting from regular appointments.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
