What clients say about the cupping here
“I went to Tamie because we had just experienced two miscarriages and wanted to see how Tamie could be helpful to me after being immensely helpful to my wife for the previous 5 years.”
“I tried so many doctors and “specialists” and Tamie was the only practitioner that listened to my needs and really customized a treatment for my root cause.”
“She also treated my chronic plantar fasciitis - I could not believe the difference after just one treatment - it went from debilitating pain to almost no pain!”
“Her advanced training in complementary modalities affords her a wide range of treatment options; she is extremely experienced so her treatments have always been appropriate and successful for me.”
“Working with Tamie and taking a functional medicine approach was one of the first times I felt someone was looking at the whole picture instead of just treating symptoms.”
From the reviews
I started going to Tamie after over a year of trying to start a family with my husband, including infertility treatments. Tamie took her time to learn about my body, my systemic inflammation, and imbalance of gut microbes that were affecting my ability to conceive.
I went to Tamie because we had just experienced two miscarriages and wanted to see how Tamie could be helpful to me after being immensely helpful to my wife for the previous 5 years. Right away, she determined my stress level could be a factor in our fertility struggles.
Before working with Tamie, I spent nearly 10 years dealing with ongoing gut and health issues that never seemed to fully resolve through conventional approaches alone.
I decided to reach out to Tamie after years of chronic fatigue, brain fog, while also wanting to get ahead of fertility, as we had been trying for our first child for a few months, with no success.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
