From the reviews
Let me start by saying that I work in the metaphysical field, and Ive been a Reiki practitioner and teacher for the last 12 years. I’m also not a stranger to acupuncture and have friends and colleagues that work with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). When I first heard of Dr.
I made an appointment with Jade Seed Wellness, not really knowing what to expect as I've never had acupuncture before. Everything in my life felt overwhelming yet stuck in place. I was having chronic migraines, anxiety, shame spirals, trouble finding motivation and trouble holding focus. Meeting Dr.
Sessions with Dr. Lacey have changed my life!! I initially saw her for acupuncture due to gallstone/liver issues (which resolved within two sessions) and I have done a total of 10 sessions.
I had the most amazing appointment with Dr. Dupre at Jade Seed Wellness! It was my first time trying needle-free acupuncture, and my digestion issues/symptoms were reduced after just one session!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
