AMAZING MASSAGE! My husband purchased a massage for Mother's Day for me, and it was absolutely a need for me. Angela is so in tune and amazing at what she does. I love how she gets a feel of what you want first and then reads your body's ques.
My first visit to River Rock Massage was great! From the moment I walked in until the moment I left I felt very welcome and comfortable. The massage was excellent. Angela took time to understand my needs and addressed them during the massage. I’ve already scheduled a return visit.
I’m a regular at Isthmus Wellness. I don’t know what I would do without Laura! She’s the best! Somehow, she manages to know exactly what I need and where I need it. Due to my job and lifestyle I always have knots and aches in my shoulders and neck, but once I see Laura, everything is instantly better. She’s a godsend.
Best massage therapist I've ever gone to. She does a great job with deep tissue massage. I've been going to her consistently for the past 4 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else and is very accommodating to my schedule. I highly recommend her for a relaxing massage!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
