From the reviews

After back surgery physical therapy was required. I selected the Mukilteo location of IRG because the location was convenient. Glad I did. I met with Dr. Claire Miller, who besides diagnosing my status, patiently listened to my goals and what I wanted to accomplish.

Jeremy took a great deal of time with my initial appointment and listened to my concerns and goals. Was extremely patient and has set achievable goals. Facility is immaculate and the staff is great. Second visit was equally great.

★★★★★ — Rosa, Jun 2021

Everyone at this clinic is great. Clarice is wonderful. She will push you, joke with you and make whatever physical challenge you’re having go smoothly. Although I’ve only worked with Clarice and Amy, both are great therapists. From watching the other therapist there, they seem to be great as well.

★★★★★ — Jennifer, Jun 2026

Staff is super friendly and responsive. Claire M was my PT and she’s an expert in her field + super personable. She immediately identified where my pain was coming from and advised the right stretches and activities. I experienced significant improvement within 3 weeks.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
