“His office is a safe, calm, and peaceful environment.”
“After years of disappointment with traditional medicine, I was interested in Peter’s approach with “resetting and rewiring” the nervous system.”
From the reviews
As a vet, I’ve seen my share of trauma. My body holds on to pain and memories and as I have searched for both relief and answers, Peter has been a resource not only for my pain management but as I find myself triggered he has helped me to understand and has been a huge resource in managing my PTSD.
A very good and caring practitioner. I went to Peter for help with long term anxiety. After years of disappointment with traditional medicine, I was interested in Peter’s approach with “resetting and rewiring” the nervous system. I have just begun the process but am happy with the results I’m noticing.
Never knew much about acupuncture, so I decided to call Peter. He took the time and asked me what was going on. Never once did he rush me off the phone. I did make an appointment with Peter, after showing up again we went through all the issues that I had shared with him in our phone conversation.
I’m so thankful that I found integrity wellness for my husband. Mike has suffered with back pain from broken back (1991) and we have been to over 9 different doctors with no relief. Peter Jones has done an amazing job with acupuncture and massage therapy on Mike.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Integrity Wellness
Integrity Wellness comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — ask whether that can be arranged. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
