From the reviews

Dill Schilley has been the best massage therapist I have visited. I received a craniosacral massage from him. After it my face had the same feeling as your hands after you crack your knuckles. I thought he was just placing his hands on my face until the end.

Today I had the most amazing massage by Kendall. I have arthritis in my left shoulder and Kendall used just the right amount of pressure to release the muscles in my neck and upper back. I also have some tightness in my right lower back. Again she used the right amount of pressure to release the tightness.

As a marathon runner and endurance athlete, recovery is not optional. It’s essential. I’ve run 70 marathons/ultras, and I can honestly say that Integrative Massage has been a game-changer for me. Their team understands that athletes need more than a relaxing massage.

A friend of mine referred me to Melissa because I was having a lot of pain in my neck and back. I am not a big fan of massage but I was in so uncomfortable I thought I would give it a try. I booked an appointment online which was very easy to do and met Melissa a week later.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
