From the reviews

Amazing staff and an incredible experience at Integrative Acupuncture and Massage Therapy. I was in pain for two weeks before I finally decided to try acupuncture and cupping. Within just 30 minutes, I had full mobility back and felt great.

★★★★★ — Kane, Dec 2025

I first started seeing Michel back in 2015. He treated me for an athletic injury and got me where I needed to be quickly! I've since been to him (and continue to see him) for multiple athletic injuries and also pain related to an accident I was in.

★★★★★ — Kelly, Jul 2021

Went in for low back pain (2 bulging discs & sciatica) & shoulder pain. I have been struggling with this lower back pain for over a decade and in a month my pain is almost gone. I regret not doing this sooner.

★★★★★ — Jessica, Sep 2024

I first reached out to Michel when I was really in pain. I decided to surrender to whatever he believed would help the most, whether it was accupuncture or massage, and I always left feeling I had made progress toward finally experiencing relief. When the day came that I wasn't in pain anymore, I was overjoyed.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
