From the reviews

Dr. Li and his wife did a great job treating me and if I am coming back is for them. I got on time to my appointment and still they made me wait 30 min to just put me in a room for another 10 min (total 40 min) without saying anything or communicating why the delay.

★★★★☆ — Gina, Jun 2023

Dr. Li is hands down the best chiropractor in the south east. His adjustments are always spot on and the acupuncture is amazing. I've had helped my husband and me with all of our neck and back issues I would highly recommend Dr. Li to anyone! His staff are friendly and professional also.

★★★★★ — Mikel, Jun 2017

I've always love massages and a chiropractor! I've never done acupuncture and this was, and continues to be, an amazing experience. My questions are answered, the care is intentional and as quick as it can be. Their customer service is great as well! Healthcare in SC isn't cheap regardless.

★★★★★ — Greg, Feb 2026

I have had an excellent experience with the the staff, they are, professional and kind. I had been struggling not only with shoulder issues but also headaches. The chiropractor explained that they were caused by tension in my shoulders.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
