I saw Melissa for my first appointment today. She is very friendly and seems quite knowledgeable. My experience was good today. No pain with the needles and treatment was comfortable. I'm interested in seeing if further treatments will help with my infertility. It is too early to know, but I'm hopeful.
I have been seeing Dr. Yang for over 2 months now. I came here with a high recommendations from a different specialty doctor of mine. The clinic space is very clean, calm and relaxing. Dr. Melissa is extremely knowledgeable and caring, she possess a positive, friendly attitude and very nice bed side manners.
Melissa Is great. Helped my vertigo, and arthritis, especially in my upper neck. Also helped with pain after left knee replacement. I highly recommend her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
