From the reviews
I feel really pleased with my services here. Myofascial release with Raleigh is helping me out with some longstanding problems that I have had in completely unexpected ways. I have heard good things about the other therapists here too from friends of mine. They have good hours, and can get me in after work.
Good business is honest business. Mr. Garry is not only well educated in his craft, but has the years of experience to “back” it up. You naturally enjoy learning about the human body just as much as you will enjoy working out all the tension build up in the body. I would highly recommend. Self care in the best way.
I had an amazing massage with Garry on July 1. I have suffered with neck pain and tension for years and have tried other massages but gained little to no relief.
Garry is amazing! I have been going to him for about 7 years now. He is so intuitive about finding your problem areas and "listening" to your muscles to see how best to help. He has gone out of his way to research new techniques in order to help with my migraine headaches.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
