From the reviews

Wonderful experience! The space was so welcoming. Anna was so conscientious of communicating with me what she was doing and making sure I was comfortable. She was personable and kind. The table was the perfect temperature. I haven’t felt that relaxed in so long.

I truly hope that everyone gets to experience a massage with Anna. A lot of people want to be massage therapists and few ARE suppose to be masseuses. Her technique and intuition are gifts that can’t be taught, she not only listened to my needs but heard and attended to them multiple times.

★★★★★ — Makaylia, Jan 2026

Anna’s wisdom and ability to attune to your individual need is evident in her work. She has created a space that allows you to sink right in and receive. During my session I received intuitive work including psoas release and cupping.

★★★★★ — Nicole, Jan 2026

Anna at Inner Sanctuary is amazing! I recently reinjured an old neck injury and was looking to get a functional massage to help with pain as well as enjoy some relaxing time to myself as a busy mom of four kiddos. Anna took time to listen at the beginning of my massage.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
