From the reviews

Christy is one of the best massage therapists I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She listens to what is happening in your world, is not afraid to introduce other methods of breaking through tight muscles (cupping, energy work, etc).

★★★★★ — Meg, Oct 2023

Best massage ever! Christy's skillset is unmatched. I am not one to typically enjoy massages, but the office vibes combined with her demeanor really got me into a relaxed, healing state. I will be back.

★★★★★ — Thomas, Jan 2024

I have been a client of Christy's for many years. I have referred many friends due to her incredible knowledge and skill/experience. Other massage therapists have aggravated some nerve damage, leaving me in bad shape and making me avoid getting massages for a long time. But not Christy.

★★★★★ — Gabriela, Apr 2025

Absolutely wonderful experience! I’ve had quite a few massages over the years, but Christy went above and beyond to tailor my experience for a 90 min Prenatal Massage.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
