From the reviews
I had been suffering chronically with tightness/soreness in both legs. I had been getting treatment (acupuncture/cupping) at another wellness place to no relief for about a year and a half. I was thinking I was going to have to accept this condition for the rest of my life.
I have been a patient of Dr Kelly for a little over a year now. My treatment and care has improved my health significantly. I am much more mobile and active, definitely moving better and comfortable. Dr Kelly and Amanda her massage therapist are very professional and have been amazing to work with.
I have had nothing but great experiences here. I was doing regular acupuncture when I first started with Dr. Carly Martin and had absolutely great results. I can't sing her praises enough! She has been exactly what I have needed and wish I had found her sooner.
Pain is not fun at all. It has seriously impacted my daily activities and created a constant mental fog that made my life feel overwhelming. I've worked in the field of Physical Therapy for over a decade, and I can honestly say that my chiropractic care with Dr. Michael VanSooy has been truly exceptional!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
