From the reviews

I’ve been going to Mickee for close to six years now and I’m so glad I found her! I deal with frequent muscle tension and pain, as well as flare ups of chronic conditions such as radiculopathy (pinched nerves). I usually book the integrative massage but have also enjoyed adding on the hot stones or cupping.

Shell is the only massage therapist I have received services from and I don’t plan on having it any other way! She takes time to understand what ways she can best help your body and any concerns you may have. Shell always creates such a comfortable and positive space that I enjoy returning to.

★★★★★ — Victoria, Feb 2024

I've seen Shell a handful of times now and I can promise you if you book with her you will leave feeling AMAZING and you'll keep coming back. Shell is not like the average massage therapist performing the same routine on everyone.

★★★★★ — Caitlin, Jun 2026

Best massage I've had in a long time. Mickee is very intuitive in her massage and pressure. She let me completely zone out for the entire 2 hours, which was easy in her beautifully curated space. I was having trouble sleeping when I came to her and I've been sleeping the entire night through since seeing her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
