Why Indigo Massage Therapy is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “sion and muscle pain, or a relaxation massage to unwind and reset, we tailor each treatment with intention and care. Our sessions may also incorporate upper body and scalp work, along with alternative techniques such as cupping, hot stone…” source →

From the reviews

I had an incredible deep tissue massage here! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Emily was my therapist and was amazing, really focused on the areas that needed the most work. I’ve been dealing with massive sciatic nerve pain for a long time, and she helped me tremendously.

I have been seeing Heidi at the Lindenhurst location for the last year. You can reference my review that I wrote for her, as I can’t say enough good things about the incredibly intuitive healer she is! When I learned of the expansion into Antioch, I was thrilled for her!

★★★★★ — Laura, Nov 2025

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing experience with Emily! She’s incredibly professional, always on time, and keeps everything neat and organized. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing—every session feels tailored to what I need.

★★★★★ — Paco, Oct 2025

My husband and I tried indigo massage and were very pleased! Emily was excellent and very attentive. I set my intention for the massage to be relaxation and she definitely focused on that. My husband and I joked after that we looked like different people with how relaxed we felt and looked.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
