From the reviews

Gina is AMAZING! I tried cupping for the first time and finally had relief of my back pain. She was also able to work on my plantar fasciitis which has been a true blessing since even an injection didn't help with it. My muscle tension feels relieved after a visit with her.

Gina is an incredible massage therapist. I’ve been seeing her for well over five years now and have noticed a huge difference in my everyday life from her massages. I highly recommend trying cupping with her, as she’s well trained in their usage. I continue to refer my friends to her for their massage needs!

Gina was recommended to me by a coworker who just GUSHED about what amazing massages she gives. She’s been going to Gina for a long time. I finally made an appointment a few months ago and oh my word, YES!

My session with Danielle was long overdue. Her space is welcoming and calming. Danielle is kind . Kindness is a lost virtue, it was comforting to know it still exists. She used so many new techniques . I felt fantastic after my session. I came in very tense and tired. I left my session rejuvenated.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
