I completed my therapy 6 months ago & I can’t believe I’m completely healed! I had had a LOT of pain in my knee for over a year but my therapy w/ Bob at Impact was a complete success in terms of healing & no further treatments such as surgery or anything.
Cannot stress enough how great Lynne and the IMPACT team are! I basically tore a few ligaments and severely sprained a few other ligaments in my ankle back in March. I was in a boot for about a month and a half and started physical therapy at the orland location.
Best Physical Therapy place I have been to. I have worked with Lynne and she has been amazing. I came in with 2 herniated disc’s and couldn’t even walk straight and after 4 weeks I’m walking completely straight.
My husband has been going to Impact Physical Therapy for two weeks. The staff is very knowledgeable and surprisingly his shoulder has less pain than before. He has exercises he can do at home also.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
