From the reviews

I would give 10 star to this place and the workers here. DPT in charge, Leo, is the most kind, knowledgeable and experienced with musculoskeletal injuries. He knows “ the stuff”. He listens to your concerns and will walk you thru the anatomy of the area that requires therapy/tune up.

I've had a positive experience at IPT.Great staff, very friendly. Daniel is knowledgeable and professional. He's a great physical therapist. My treatment and recovery are going well. I'm here for a sports injury. My only criticism would be that this place appears to be geared more towards non sport related therapy.

This place is great. It's very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Leo took care of my father and was careful, thorough and explained everything as he went along. He made father felt heard and understood. He also helped him understand what his body was doing because of his injury.

★★★★★ — Michelle, Mar 2022

I accompanied my husband to his first PT visit to assist with translation if needed. I have NEVER seen such a thorough initial evaluation performed. And he went to his second session, came home and raved about the level of care he received. This PT clinic is a hidden gem that I highly recommend.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
