From the reviews
Amy is the best PT I have ever had. I have improved in my balance and feel so good after each session.
Following recent hip-replacement surgery, I made contact with iMove PT on the recommendation of my surgeon’s office. Initially, I planned to use the in-home service only until I was physically able to make it to an outpatient rehabilitation center.
This is my second experience with mobile IMove PT and it deserves 5 stars, as did the first one. I was having some issues with positional vertigo, which was stressful and considered seeing my PCP, but did some online research and was surprised that this condition was a specialty of physical therapy.
Maddie has helped me improve my balance and strength from the very first session. I am amazed at how little movements done per her guidance make such a difference in my mobility and stability. She knows her stuff and explains what we are doing and how it will help.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
