From the reviews
Idea Physical Therapy has done what an ordinary physical therapy clinic hasn’t done. The consultation with Dr. Harris provided was in-depth and didn’t just focus on the issue I presented to him. Dr.
I had a great experience at Ideal Physical Therapy. Dr. Harris was super helpful and knowledgeable, making the whole process easy. We did some cupping for my lower back pain, and I walked out of there feeling amazing. Best of all, it didn't cost an arm and a leg!
Dr. Harris was great! After a brief discussion and some mobility work, he recommended cupping as a treatment. I had never heard of it before and was a bit skeptical, but after cupping he had me try some squats and I couldn’t believe it - no lower back pain whatsoever. Highly recommend.
Dr. Harris helped me out with a lower back issue I was having from deadlifting. He got to work right away with cupping and stretches provided relief right away. He thoroughly explained how cupping worked. Thank you!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
