From the reviews

Dr. Sam is great! Battled knee and shoulder pain for who knows how long. Could hardly squat without pain in the knee, was looking toward surgery, but now we’re on the mend and it appears that we are going to be able to avoid that!!!

As an active, 51-year-old-man who lifts weights and played college football (albeit 30 years ago), I figured participating in the flag football event at the Wichita Corporate Challenge would be enjoyable and non-threatening. I was wrong.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Sam. I originally went to him for what I thought was jaw pain that was causing ear pain, neck pain, and headaches. Not only did he help me get to the root of the problem, but he helped me fix it. What I appreciate about Dr.

My 13-year-old son and I have both seen Dr. Reels at ICT Muscle & Joint, and we couldn’t be happier with the care we’ve received. I initially went in for back pain, and my son is being treated for Sever’s Disease. Dr. Reals uses advanced techniques that have made a noticeable difference for both of us.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
