From the reviews
Lauren is an incredible and intuitive healer. With both acupuncture and cupping techniques, she skillfully relieves muscle, fascia, and mental stress. Her approach is deeply wise and holistic, grounded in a true understanding of the body and its connection to the mind.
Loren was recommended by several people last year, I have been receiving treatments of acupuncture, cupping and gua sha for two separate areas. She is very knowledge on the body anatomy, I highly recommend Loren and her practice
Lauren has been treating me for about a year now and I am SO happy I found her! She has successfully helped me manage lower back pain, static and hip flexor nerve pain. Before seeing her, I was constantly battling pain and now if feels like a thing of the past.
I had shoulder pain that would radiate to bicep. Pain that would just throb and ache every day. I couldn’t even sleep on my shoulder it was so painful. With in a few sessions I am now laying on my shoulder, working out lightly of course and I have not been having much pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
