I live in Europe and went on vacation to Toms River, New Jersey, in August. I was suffering from severe pain in my left shoulder due to tennis elbow, which had forced me to stop playing tennis. While there, the pain became unbearable, so I looked for a massage therapist and found Tatiana. She was amazing!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a sound bath therapy session, and it was an absolutely magical experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a deeply relaxing session.
This practice and all of the specialists here are phenomenal!!! I have been here for massage therapy with Tatsiana, which was AMAZING. As well as tried the reiki and biofield tuning yesterday with Kathleen.
Kathleen…..I don’t even know where to begin. From the first second my son (14) and I met her we both immediately felt the positive energy. She is a light and a person you want to be around because the energy is so wonderful. Her session with both of us was professional and so helpful.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
