I was looking for a place that offers acupuncture and fire cupping. This is the spot! Tim is very professional and respectful. I am very familiar with Chinese medicine but I never received an education talk. This man knew exactly what my health issues were.
…I had five sessions of acupuncture combined with the cupping treatments and the Gua Sha treatments and after each session my body continued to heal itself of the nerve pain that I'd been tolerating for months before. I will certainly go back for more sessions if I start feeling even the slightest aching anywhere else!
On January of 2022 after having Covid, I developed the Long Covid syndrome. I went to different clinics and traditional treatments with no success in alleviating the symptoms. I read about the oriental medicine approach for long Covid syndrome and looked for a clinic in my area to try it out.
Tim is incredible. I went in about 5 years ago now & have been going there for service since then. It started with a knee sprain & thanks to Tim & his knowledge to heal, I was able to get back to dancing. I would recommend 100%
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
