From the reviews

I worked with Phi for the first time this week! What an amazing experience. I injured my shoulder 6 months ago and have had continual pain. I have had PT and was told surgery was my next option. I went to see Phi and we did cupping and acupuncture!

★★★★★ — Kelly, Jun 2017

Phi is the best! I’ve come for injuries, prevention, recovery, and maintenance and he’s the best every time. I had very poor previous experiences with acupuncture but Phi has won me over! My favorite is cupping followed by acupuncture (and the inevitable nap!)

★★★★★ — Breezy, Jan 2026

I've been coming here regularly for over a year now. I've had multiple surgeries for my shoulder problems but that wasn't enough to resolve the immense pain. Phi has helped tremendously in bringing down the pain levels to much more tolerable levels. My shoulder used to have a really bad spasms but now that’s gone.

★★★★★ — John, Apr 2019

I have been seeing Phi for acupuncture and cupping for 5+ years - I always feel better after my appointments with him. He is easy-going, professional and knowledgeable. His office is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
