I have been dealing with depression and anxiety for several years. Read something about acupuncture helping, so I did some research and found Heaven and Earth. The ratings were very high and I was also impressed that Kyle had experience in Oriental Medicine.
I have been curious about acupuncture for awhile and finally looked more into it, this was one of the first places that came up during my search. I signed up for the free initial consultation and treatment and Kyle was able to answer any questions I had and talk through the process.
I have been seeing Kyle for years, originally twice a week to help with shoulder pain. Acupuncture truly made a difference, and now I only schedule appointments when I have a flare-up or tweak that needs attention to get me back to being pain-free.
I was battling with anxiety and stress over the summer of 2025. It was bad! So many other methods did little to nothing to help. Then I started acupuncture twice weekly for 7 weeks, and my life truly shifted for the better. I now go once or twice monthly for maintenance, and will continue into the foreseeable future.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
