From the reviews
Well worth the money! I have been coming to HeartGlow for years and the quality of the massage always surpasses my expectations. As a 6'3" weightlifter and martial arts practitioner, I can really develop knots and tension in my back, neck, and shoulder muscles.
My expectations were high when I went for a massage; they were surpassed and then some. Carol is a gifted practitioner who creates a total mind/body transformational experience. She corrects your energy blockages moving you to a calm, pain-free and tranquil space. I look forward to my next massage.
Most wonderful massage EVER! I'd been suffering from some sciatic nerve pain and was hoping for even a modicum of relief. Carol is amazing--explains all she's doing and why, checks in often, and provided me with more relief than I thought I could ever get in just 1 short hour. Highly recommended!
Carol is the real deal. Her knowledge is incredible and I actually enjoyed her explaining everything as we went along. It's hard to find someone so well versed in both eastern and western styles as well as energetic healing. I look forward to my next massage and highly recommend her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
