From the reviews
I’ve had a sports related injury and i needed to return to my favorite location for therapy. I love the staff, they are so friendly. The receptionist is my favorite i call her my auntie and she is the best
Since the first time I walked into the New Baltimore location the staff made me feel right at home. As you walk in you are greeted by Hanna who takes care of appointments/insurance /billing answering all my questions with a smile. I had shoulder surgery on both shoulders.
New Baltimore Health Quest is awesome! I'm going for my back and I have Kim for PT. She and Lishelle, the owner-manager, have helped me SO much! Everyone... and I mean EVERYONE...is super nice and very good at what they do. They make sure that I am comfortable with the exercises and let me do what I can on my own.
I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years after 5 hip surgeries. Every time I am even more amazed at how amazing this staff is. The therapists always do a great job of making sure the treatment being provided is helpful and not painful, and they always go the extra mile to help their patients.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
