I've been coming here on and off for a few years, even back when they were at their old location, and I can honestly say they always take great care of me. The front desk team was extremely helpful in getting me scheduled and answering all of my insurance questions. The physical therapist and acupuncturist took their time to explain the entire process, the benefits, and the treatment plan for the next few visits.
I love Wellington Holistic Treatment & Wellness! This new location is a nice upgrade from their previous tiny office. I recommend acupuncture, cupping, and massages. The entire staff is kind and a pleasure to interact with. Whether you're in pain or just need a break and want to relax, you need to give them a try.
If I lived closer I would go here even more. The acupuncturist is really knowledgeable and has helped me deal with back pain, and recover from an achilles rupture. The massage and cupping is also great.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
