It was my best massage ever plus cupping. The massage was provided for Siri and she did an amazing job recovering my back, neck and legs after my 3 days hiking in the Appalachian Trail. I had my legs too much painfully because I had more than 4 months without hike.
Tun K was great, very professional. She really focused on my hip and SI joint area that has been bothering me with good stretches. Also added cupping. Very relaxing and helpful.
I can’t recommend this place enough. Nana has such an intuitive touch. She found all the spots that were holding tension and worked through them expertly. You can feel the experience and knowledge in her work. I walked out feeling lighter and so much better in my body. Already looking forward to my next appointment.
Siri P does great work. She is experienced and will put you into some wild positions to stretch you out. She knew exactly where it was tight and what needed to be done about it. Great experience will be back.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
