From the reviews
Victoria is a skilled professional and a leader in the field of acupuncture. She always comes into session with a plan to continue growth and promote healing, and can easily pivot should you be in a stressful state that requires a different protocol. I have recommended Victoria to my friends, family, and coworkers!
I have been Victoria's patient for four years and I absolutely love her. She is professional, warm and puts the patient first. She pays attention to patients needs and even did home visits for me when I was house bound due to recovering from surgery.
I was initially nervous about receiving acupuncture and cupping, but Victoria reassured me that I was safe in her hands and I really was. She checked in on me to ensure that I was receiving the treatment I needed and was adujsting to the treatment well.
I am very happy and glad I came to see Victoria. I always heard about Oriental Medicine and cupping and never thought much of it. I had issues with my neck and upper back. Lots of tension and discomfort. I came in and explained to Victoria what issues I was having.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
