Why Healing Lotus Therapy is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “-up the tissues and muscles that allow for a firmer pressure to be applied at a deeper level, without the pain. As the tissues soften, more blood and oxygen penetrates congested areas, releasing pressure and stress. $10 Cupping -…” source →

From the reviews
I had a wonderful massage experience! The ambience of the place is very relaxing. Her massage helped my back and neck pain immediately. Would highly recommend.
I had the most incredible experience with Carrie at Healing Lotus Therapy! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Carrie’s professionalism and warm energy created a calming atmosphere that instantly helped me relax.
I went to Carrie for a deep tissue massage for my lower back pain and stress. She actually made my back pain disappear for a while after my treatment. Also if you are new like me, please be patient with her scheduling as she is the owner and only masseuse. Parking for clients is in the back of the building.
Worth my time and money, the massage was very effective for my back pain
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
